BUSINESS IN ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Established by a group of Gies Business students in September 2017, Business in Environmental Responsibility (BER) is a student organization at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We welcome students from all majors and
focus on business, the environment and sustainability. We aim to create a more sustainable environment for business, to raise more awareness in business responsibilities for future leaders, to learn about how companies currently approach sustainability efforts, and to contribute to sustainability efforts at our University and in our campus community.

As an organization, we believe it is important to actively engage with our local community through volunteer opportunities to contribute to, as well as learn more about, sustainability measures in our community.
EDUCATION
Helping The Community
We aim to provide members with an opportunity to learn more about ways to get involved in sustainability in a business environment through educational opportunities such as, speaking events with professors and business professionals, professional development workshops, and Facts on the Quad sessions.
